TipGenie is a female-founded, Silicon Valley-based company that intersects with mobile payments, financial services, and the service economy.
At the center of this intersection is our social mission: To bring cashless tipping to the service industry to recover earnings and in doing so, financially empower tipped service workers through digital payments and mobile banking.
We believe in a living wage, now more than ever. So, until policies like the federal sub-minimum tipped wage change and industries follow, we believe that tipping is a critical vehicle for earnings.
We believe in bringing humanity to technology
We believe that technology has the power to improve lives — for everyone. That’s why we’re optimizing existing mobile and financial technology to design more transparent systems of cashless payments for the tipped service industry.
We see our platform for cashless tipping as our vehicle for education and empowerment. Solutions for financial inclusion exist — it’s the accessibility of technology that limits their access and distribution.
